The church has, through its mission, the duty of guiding people towards holiness, and you must recognize and honor those who have attained holiness. Today, when people, seemed to deliberately, lose their sense of sacred, the reaffirmation of the purpose for which man created and this can not be cleared than by exemplifying how to reach this man. Saints remain eternal icons of holiness and of human supporters on a path that crosses to holiness. St. Basil the Great is a living example of holiness and redemption, and a model of the Church archpastor that took care of the implementation of models of consciousness and living saints in the Church members.
